About Us
Who We Are
HFAS International Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Lincoln Ifeanyi Abraham in response to the deep need for inclusive healthcare, mental health support, and social acceptance for children and youth living with birth defect across Africa.
The Foundation was established to address the complex challenges faced by children with craniofacial differences like cleft lip and palate, chronic conditions such as sickle cell anaemia, and those marginalized due to physical or developmental disabilities. These challenges extend beyond medical care to include psychological trauma, social stigma, and exclusion from opportunities.
At Hope For A Smile, we take a holistic approach, working with local and international partners to provide access to surgeries, therapy, and integrated mental health support. We also engage in education, advocacy, and community outreach to dismantle harmful myths and promote dignity and inclusion.
Our mission is to restore hope and build futures. one child, one family, one smile at a time.
